I am a Certified Career Coach and an experienced HR, DEI, and Talent Leader with over a decade of expertise in recruitment and human resources. I proudly attended Prairie View A&M University, an HBCU, where I began my journey into the world of recruitment.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the biases and tokenization that people of color often face in the workplace. I, too, have experienced these challenges and have made it my mission to turn tokenization into opportunity. I strive to demonstrate that my qualifications and skills make me the best candidate for any role, not just the color of my skin.

My recruitment career has opened doors to a multitude of career paths, job titles, and professional networks that were previously unknown to me. I realized that many people of color, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, are not exposed to the vast array of career opportunities beyond the typical roles often promoted, such as doctors, nurses, lawyers, and customer service positions.

At Token CareerPaths, my goal is to educate and guide individuals seeking to enhance or change their careers, as well as college students looking for direction in their career paths. I am committed to empowering people of color to navigate their professional journeys and achieve their fullest potential by transforming their experiences of tokenization into stepping stones for success.
